About Anne

Anne has been involved in dance all her life. Firstly as a performer in Classical Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary Dance in both London UK and Dublin Ireland.  She was involved in Anton Dolin's production of Giselle.

During her years as a dancer Pilates exercises played a big part for cross training which she found very beneficial to enhance the execution and strength required to perform the art form of all dance.

She later developed her interest in teaching when she became married and speclised in teaching Classical Ballet. Her last prestigious appointment was as Artistic Director of Irish National Youth Ballet which she founded with the help of funding by the Arts Council of Ireland in 1995.

Anne moved from Ireland with her husband, to live in Paris in 2007 and immediately on re-location she attended the teacher training programme with "Alyne Centre de Bien Etre" in Balanced Body University of the Pilates Method, California.

Anne later added BARRE AU SOL classes to her teaching programme which she devised herself from her experience in Contemporary Dance floor work and she applies the Pilates Principals of mind/body awareness to the technique.
